For many young girls, getting their first period is a significant milestone. It’s a natural part of growing up, yet it can also bring uncertainty, embarrassment and questions they may not feel comfortable asking.
At TidzBiz, we believe this experience deserves to be met with understanding, confidence and support — not shame.
And that’s where our story begins.
A Simple Idea With a Bigger Purpose
TidzBiz was born from a vision shared by founders Bo and Jade: to create something meaningful for young girls, particularly First Nations girls, as they navigate the transition into womanhood.
What began as an idea for practical period essentials has developed into something much bigger.
It’s about creating opportunities for education, encouraging conversations and helping young girls feel supported through an important stage of their lives.
Because having the right products is important, but understanding what’s happening to your body and feeling comfortable talking about it matters just as much.
Grounded in Culture. Created With Purpose.
For Bo and Jade, culture and community are central to the vision behind TidzBiz.
They want young First Nations girls to feel proud of who they are, connected to their identity and confident in the changes they experience as they grow.
TidzBiz recognises the important role that families, Elders and communities can play in supporting young people through these milestones.
It’s about creating space for conversations that are respectful, positive and empowering.
Because menstruation is not something to hide or feel ashamed of. It’s a natural part of life, and every girl deserves to experience it with dignity.
Practical Products. Meaningful Conversations.
TidzBiz is developing a range of period kits and refill packs designed to make menstrual essentials more accessible and convenient.
But our vision extends beyond what’s inside the box.
Through educational resources and community partnerships, we want to encourage greater understanding of menstrual health and help young girls feel prepared for their first period and the years that follow.
Our approach brings together three important elements:
Preparation: Providing practical essentials to help girls feel ready.
Education: Supporting understanding of menstruation, puberty and menstrual health.
Connection: Encouraging positive conversations between young girls, families, educators and communities.
Together, these elements represent what TidzBiz is working towards.
Building Something Together
We’re currently working towards bringing our first range of TidzBiz products to communities across Australia.
As we continue developing our products, educational resources and distribution pathways, we’re connecting with organisations, schools, health providers, businesses and community groups that share our vision.
We believe meaningful impact comes from working together, listening to communities and creating solutions that respond to their needs.
Whether you’re an organisation looking to support young girls, a community leader interested in menstrual education, or someone who believes in the importance of this conversation, we’d love to connect.
This Is Just the Beginning
TidzBiz is more than a period kit.
It’s an opportunity to start conversations, support education and help the next generation of young girls approach menstruation with confidence, understanding and pride.
We’re at the beginning of our journey, and we’re inviting others to be part of what comes next.
Because every girl deserves to feel prepared, supported and proud.
Be Part of the TidzBiz Journey
